I am glad that someone mentioned it again...but Fred Thompson was first! Important issues are being side-stepped continually. The media won't cover candidates when they talk of issues or how they want to handle the important topics facing America today...only when there is "snubbing" or other insults do the candidates get media coverage....the media is the largest reason why American's are not hearing as much information about the issues as we deserve! It also encourages the candidates to take shots at each other....that is the only way they can get coverage. The networks have turned our selection of candidates from what should be selecting the person with the best plans for America into a popularity contest. It's like being back in high school, "who said what, when did they say it and who said what back!"
