Clinton going negative?

Hillary Rodham Clinton plans to target what her campaign calls Barack Obama’s inexperience over the next five days in New Hampshire and deliver much sharper — and likely much more personal and negative — attacks against the Iowa winner, according to Democrats familiar with the evolving strategy.

"Personal and negative," huh?

Now New Hampshire is not Iowa. And this race is just beginning, even though it could be over by the end of the month.

But look at the turnout on the Democratic side in Iowa: Nearly double what it was in 2004. And those new participants came out, largely, for Obama. That suggests (to me, anyway) Dem voters would rather vote for somebody out of hope than fear.
