I really enjoyed watching the Democratic Party Rules and By Laws Committee, live on television today. Did I get that right is it called the rules committee?

Obama has now resigned from his Church.  I would have thought the line would have been drawn when this first started with Rev. Wright; but no, now he really drew the line after the latest comments from the new (white) Rev. Pfleger.   Without getting involved in a rather long blog of which we all know what happened, how do you feel about this entire controversy?  The only thing I will share is that I was shocked when I first saw the clip.  Is there something in the Holy Water at Trinity United Church of Christ or was it Wright or is it now Pfleger?

PLEASE NOTE:  I am speaking about the News listed to the right of the screen, not the topics of the day.I don't mean to sound ungrateful, but, I am really NOT impressed with the Topics that Scripps Howard News Service has been providing on this site. There are truly so many more important issues at hand in the world other than Spelling Bee Families, cameras and winners.  I am wondering if you can start listing topics of greater interest.  Is there anything we can do as an RBA community to assist, or am I the only one that feels this way.  Feedback from group?

We are now firmly ensconced in the Age of Extreme Weather.

As I am posting this blog, the 30 members of the DNC Rules & Bylaws committee are meeting, behind closed doors, in the ballroom of a Washington DC hotel. In the balance is what to do with the votes of Florida and Michigan.

Both Florida and Michigan were stripped of representation for holding their elections in January, in violation of party rules.

WHAT IS WRONG WITH OUR SENATE?HOW DO ILLEGAL ALIENS QUALIFY FOR SOCIAL SECURITY BENEFITS.I'M 61YRS OLD AND I DRAW S.S.DISABILITY IT TOOK ME THREE YRS TO GET WHAT I HAD COMING TO ME,I LOST EVERYTHING.MY ROOMMATE SHE TRIED TO PAY EVERYTHING BUT COULD'NT.I'M GOING TO EMAIL MY TWO SENATORS FROM IOWA,AND I SUGGEST EVERYONE EMAIL THEIR SENATORS AND COMPLAIN.YOU KNOW THE SENATE,CONGRESS,AND THE WHITE HOUSE,ALLOW COMMUNIST CHINA  TO POISON US,SO WHY NOT GIVE OUR SOCIAL SECURITY AWAY TO ILLEGAL ALIENS.I WOULD SAY THAT THE ILLEGALS ARE TAKING JOBS AWAY FROM AMERICANS ,BUT THAT WOULD BE

I watched Indiana Jones on Monday. It was a very nice movie and I was very well entertained.

It was set in the late 1950s with the great RED scare.  But there was one thing in the movie that got me thinking.

It was the statement of the KGB woman who said we will kill your country from within.  One thought at a time and you will never know it until it was too late and then you will be exactly like us.

Although I doubt Russia could be that smart  or accomplish such a thing. However, the extreme left of America has been doing exactly that.

Before Congress institutionalized three-day weekends, today was Memorial Day. Whatever the day, the people of this nation have long memorialized the men who sacrificed their lives so that we might remain free. Memorial Day is also a tribute to our character as we continue in this noble tradition, particularly in view of the noisy minority that professes concern for those sacrifices yet would deny our servicemen the fruits of their heroic efforts.

A Florida teacher created an uproar when she allowed classmates to vote a disruptive student out of the class and criticized him in front of the class.
