Newt vs Santorum
Posted 3 weeks 1 day ago byDoes anyone think that maybe Newt is using Santorum to feather his own bed. I think Santorum ought to be very careful of this man. Santorum might think a ganging up on Romney is a good idea, but in th end, Newt could very well stab him in the back. All this whining by Newt is hollow. He is up to something and Santorum might be the sacrificial lamb. If Newt really wanted to back Santorum, then why doesn't he just drop out and do that? Santorum should watch his back with Newt, the Washington insider who knows all the nasty ways to get his way.
Jobs Go Where Taxes Are Low
Posted 3 weeks 1 day ago byIt is no secret that business and jobs are flowing to Texas from California but that is not the only state that is benefiting with new jobs as a response to higher taxes in once was called the Golden State.
According to the Goldwater Institute, Arizona saw a net influx of about $2.89 billion in income since the start of the recession from 2007 through the end of 2010. Illinois and Michigan have also benefits from businesses fleeing states with high taxes.

And there will not be a different Michelle in the White House this year!!! Mrs. Bachmann has quit the race.
Posted 3 weeks 2 days ago byThe key question for all us political junkies is where Bachmann and Perry's supporters will go...it is very unlikely that Mitt will get them.
John MaCain is in NH, and earlier endorsed Mitt.
Newt's poll numbers should decline in S.C. and Florida.
If Mitt wins NH in double digits; and wins Florida, it will generally be all over.
I don't doubt Bachmann's sincerity and smarts.
But the Iowa GOP base sent her a strong message...we may like you personally, but not as our POTUS.
The stakes are too high for Nov. to throw our important first vote to you.
Best of luck in the future.
The real NEWT
Posted 3 weeks 2 days ago byI always watched Newt Gingrich on TV and thought that he was a very bright man. He is. What he is lacking is character. He acts like a school kid. He says he won't attack a Republican and then as soon as he is tested he gets as nasty as can be. He claims that he won't use negative ads even now, yet, at every opportunity when the mike is in front of him, he says the most disparaging things.
Bye bye Gov. Perry and Michelle Bachmann. Hello to Rick Santorum, at least till Florida.
Posted 3 weeks 2 days ago byAnd bye bye to Iowa for another four years.
Mitt apparently has eked out a very narrow victory, less than a dozen votes.
And only a quarter of those that caucused voted for him.
But it still is a victory.
Perry has gone back to Texas, and will likely suspend his campaign by Friday.
Bachmann will likely do the same by this evening.
Both of these candidates have long proclaimed that God has spoken to them, and encouraged them to run for POTUS.
Well, even God can be wrong; and even a supreme deity should not divide its’ loyalties .

Colmes and Lowry fight over Santorum baby
Posted 3 weeks 3 days ago byAlan Colmes has always been a gentleman and I used to enjoy him on Hannity and Colmes. I don't know what has gotten into him lately.
Rick Santorum lost a child after two hours. The baby was a member of the family. Rick and his wife, who was a neonatal nurse, decided to take the baby home and let the children acknowledge its life and say goodbye and pray for the baby's soul. I imagine they wanted closure for the family and a validation for the life of the baby that died.
Hang on to your hats and bonnets. Just 24 hours away from the Iowan caucus. How about a bit of humor to soothe the psyche?
Posted 3 weeks 4 days ago byThe most recent polls out of Iowa now show a statistical tie between Romney, Paul, and Santorum.
Romney: the buttoned-up businessman, and a neo-con on foreign policy.
Paul: the libertarian, and non-interventionist on foreign policy.
His personal favorable numbers are falling as the
attack ads take their toll.
Santorum: the evangelical Christian, who wants to be POTUS to implement the evangelical agenda...a pro-life statist; and a neo-con like Romney.
